About Azure Advanced Aesthetics

Our team prides themselves on their discretion, professionalism and courtesy. Ensuring your satisfaction, comfort and safety is our top priority. Our nursing and aesthetics staff perform typical day spa services as well as advanced Medical Aesthetics treatments in our comfortable and luxurious spa environment.

Our team will be pleased to provide comprehensive advice and recommendations for personalized skin care plans. Medical grade skin care products are conveniently available in our central Prince George location.

Dr. Christine J. Kurz is the director of Azure Advanced Aesthetics and operates as a plastic surgeon at University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (Prince George, B.C.), G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital (Quesnel, B.C.) and St. John Hospital (Vanderhoof, B.C.). Before relocating to northern British Columbia, she held staff surgical posts at Women’s College Hospital, Sunnybrook Hospital and the Toronto Regional Cancer Centre in Toronto, Ontario.

 

Meet Our Team

Dr. Christine J. Kurz

Dr. Kurz is certified as a Plastic Surgeon by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and the B.C. Medical Association.

Dr. Kurz is also a member of the Northern Medical Society and is a Clinical Instructor at UBC. Following the completion of her Plastic Surgery training at the University of Alberta, Dr. Kurz pursued additional subspecialty training in Breast Reconstruction and Cosmetic Surgery with Dr. John Semple and Dr. Mitchell Brown in Toronto.

Dr. Kurz has also trained with world-renowned surgeons Dr. Hall-Findlay (Banff) and Dr. Mulliken (Harvard), among others. All of the above qualifications, training and experience allow Dr. Kurz to combine her thorough knowledge of anatomy, her technical skills and innovations, and her aesthetic sense to provide her patients with the results they desire in a safe and comfortable environment.

Some non-invasive procedures are performed by nursing staff or senior estheticians, under the direction of Dr. Kurz. Examples of non-invasive procedures include certain types of laser treatments and chemical peels. Our nursing staff have either RN or LPN certification. Results, safety and comfort are our top priorities.

Stephanie Hrdina, Managing Esthetician

Stephanie was born and raised in Prince George and is proud to be part of the health, beauty, and wellness industry here in the North. She completed her esthetics training in 2014 and has been working in the beauty industry ever since.

As our Managing Esthetician, Stephanie brings extensive experience and advanced training to her role. She has additional certifications in podology and excels in providing expert foot and nail care at our clinic.

Stephanie is highly skilled in relaxation-focused services including jade stone massage, waxing, tinting, classic spa facials, and curated spa packages. Her warm, upbeat, and professional approach ensures clients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident throughout every visit.

She also specializes in advanced aesthetic treatments including Fraxel 600u laser facials, microneedling with ePen, RF microneedling, body contouring, and laser hair removal using Nd:YAG and Alexandrite technology.

Stephanie is passionate about delivering results-driven treatments while maintaining a relaxing and supportive experience for every client.

Taylor Rose Roberts, Senior Esthetician

Taylor is skilled in providing manicures, pedicures, waxing and relaxation massage services, and holds additional certifications in skin care and advanced treatments such as microdermabrasion with dermal infusion.

She also excels in advanced radio-frequency body contouring treatments on our BodyTite Platform, as well as Clear + Brilliant Laser Facials and Laser Hair Removal on both our Nd:Yag and Alexandrite Lasers.

Taylor brings excellent customer service and a positive energy to the AZURE professional team, and always provides the absolute best in spa services for all of her clients.

Miranda Jaye, Senior Esthetician

Welcome Miranda! We are excited to introduce esthetician Miranda to the Azure team.  Miranda began training in the beauty industry in 2011, where she attended Ms Loreas College of Esthetics.
Miranda is very experienced with traditional day-spa services including waxing, tinting, pedicures, classic spa facials and spa packages!  She is currently training and gaining experience with all of the advanced services, including Laser, Radio Frequency, etc. – provided at AZURE.
She brings her extensive experience, along with caring customer service and professionalism, to the AZURE team.

Ashley Maida, Senior Esthetician

Ashley graduated from high school in Prince George and completed her esthetics training in 2011. She is highly skilled at providing all traditional day-spa services including relaxation massages, waxing, tinting, pedicures, classic spa facials and spa packages!

Additionally Ashley offers all advanced medical spa services including Fraxel laser, laser facials, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), RF microneedling, body contouring and laser hair removal.

Ashley brings a wealth of experience, along with amazing customer service and professionalism, to the AZURE team.

Ashlyn Bennett, Senior Esthetician

Ashlyn began her training in the beauty industry in 2014, where she attended Ms. Lorea’s College of Esthetics. With over 12 years of experience, she brings a strong foundation in both traditional and advanced esthetic services.

Ashlyn is highly experienced in traditional day-spa services including pedicures, waxing, tinting, and classic spa facials. She also holds advanced certifications in IPL, dermaplaning, microneedling, and microdermabrasion, allowing her to offer a wide range of results-driven treatments.

Ashlyn is passionate about client care and takes pride in building strong, trusting relationships with her clients. She is known for creating a comfortable, welcoming environment while delivering personalized treatments tailored to each individual’s needs.

Avery Horvath, Junior Esthetician

We’re excited to welcome Avery to our team! She brings a passion for results-driven treatments and relaxing, rejuvenating services tailored to your skin and wellness goals.
Avery is from Prince George and is excited to return home after spending the last year in Edmonton training at the Alberta Academy Of Aesthetics.  She is proud of her accomplishments, earning her diploma in “Aesthetics and Medical Aesthetics”.
